OMS STG Camp: Day 2

Charlie grabbing tail in blackout
The STG crew arrived at Okemo Mountain today and were met with bluebird skies, a picturesque park and pipe, and great snow conditions. Needless to say, it was going to be a good day!  We started off by shredding the halfpipe and doing hot laps on the t bar and I believe that each rider had at least 15 runs in the pipe in an hour and a half span.  That is another HUGE bonus for riding Okemo that no other mountain in the country can offer- a park and PIPE accessible by a surface lift.

The campers and OMS athletes were stoked and after a few warm up runs, some head-high airs were being blasted, new grabs thrown down, and all captured by the OMS photography teacher Russ who ended up with some awesome shots.  We then headed to Blackout for some park laps and finished the day with a couple top-to-bottom Nor'easter runs.  At the end of the morning session, everyone was pretty whooped and ready to get back to school for some luncheon and schoolwork.
