The Okemo Mountain Snowboard Team and several OMS snowboard athletes met Kevin Pearce today and were able to take a run with Kevin.  As most of you know, Kevin Pearce is a professional snowboarder who sustained a traumatic brain injury in the pipe while training for the 2010 Olympics.  Kevin and Shaun White were the favorites for the Games but unfortunately Kevin’s season was cut short due to a bad fall in the pipe.  After an extensive and continuing rehabilitation effort, Kevin is now back on the slopes and charging hard!! Kevin Pearce is a true ambassador of the sport and an inspiration to all.
