L-R: Emmett, Chuck, Scavage, Henry, Kirsten, Bryce, Morgan, Taylor, Burnham, Hannah, Steve, Jack

Savage: corking one out with one foot in

Day three of the OMS STG Camp went off again with a multi-dimensional training approach.  Campers got gnarly on the Noreaster park, the U-Ditch. and the air pillow so needless to say, everyone rode it all and were super stoked by the end of the morning.  We had another day of spectacular weather with blue skies and comfortable temps.  The park and pipe were also dialed in thanks to the Okemo Park Staff and so tricks were learned.  The girls; Amanda Burnham, Hannah Merson, Morgan Hawkes, and Kirsten Wheeler were all learning 180's off the medium size boaters in addition to adding a few new grabs to their repertoire.  The boys (Taylor Spaulding, Charlie Berry, and Casey Savage) were all spinning both ways off the triple pack jump line with a notable gnarly front 3 roast beef by Chuck Berry and Casey's super smooth corked back5 nose grab that he is super close to landing.
Jack: bs rodeo

After some park laps, we split the group in half with Coach Tucker taking a crew to the pipe and Tuna and myself staying in Noreaster. I heard the sunny pipe session went off with a dozen or so hikes and some goals achieved.  We ended the day with some airbag training on Okemo's new Amp Energy airbag and here were some tricks that were thrown: Taylor Spaulding (back rodeo, wild cat), Charlie Berry (backflip roast beef), Jack Valentine (back rodeo), Emmett Ellmaker (back rodeo, switch underflip), Steve Thomas (backflip), Bryce Langille (backflip), Kirsten Wheeler (backflip).  It was a pretty entertaining session and we'll see if some of these maneuvers can be taken to the hardpack.  Good times and off to Killington to shred Bear tomorrow!
