US OPEN Junior Jam

OMS and OMST riders performed well at the US OPEN Junior Jam this past weekend.  There was a huge field of 80 young halfpipe competitors (13 and under) from all over the country and even as far as Ireland and Japan.  The spring elements made for a perfect halfpipe day with warm temps and sunny skies and the 22'  US Open U tube was in tip-top shape for the competitors to blast airs in.
Austin Rebetz (OMST) grabbed a 26th place finish with a clean run that included some nice straight airs and a couple 5's. Taylor Spaulding (OMST/OMS) finished 23rd with a very clean run of some large tailgrabs, methods, and stale's all out of the 22' foot pipe.  Austin Hawkes (OMST/OMS) rounded out his excellent pipe year with a 12th place finish with a technical run that included a huge frontside 5 followed by a large roast beef, method, and nosegrab and a clean ally-oop andrecht handplant to stoke out the judges.
Nice work guys!
